Talking to the Media
June 1$85 – $105
In this one-day workshop, long-time journalists Melissa Jensen and Nadia White discuss practical tips for conveying your story effectively to the media. You’ll learn best ways to contact journalists, what to do when a reporter calls for an interview and what information television, radio and newspaper journalists need from you to best tell your story. Through practice and feedback, we’ll also help you become more comfortable with being interviewed, both on and off camera. Whether you’re a government official, a university employee, a researcher, a business owner or a non-profit staffer, this workshop will give you the confidence to tell your story clearly and concisely to the media.
